Dear 6th year Parents/Guardians and Students,
We are pleased to share information about the All Ireland Scholarships, a prestigious scholarship scheme established by JP McManus in 2008. This initiative provides financial support to high-achieving students pursuing third-level education.
Each year, 125 scholarships are awarded across the 32 counties of Ireland. Successful recipients in the Republic of Ireland receive €6,750 per year for the duration of their undergraduate studies. To date, 1,924 students have benefitted from this scholarship.
To qualify for an All Ireland Scholarship, students must:
Have attended a non-fee-paying school
Be completing the Leaving Certificate Examination for the first time
Be in receipt of a third-level maintenance grant from SUSI (having applied before the SUSI deadline)
Not be in receipt of any other third-level education scholarship
There is no application process for this scholarship in the Republic of Ireland. The Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation, and Science (DFHERIS) works with SUSI and the AIS Trust to identify eligible candidates.
We encourage students who may be eligible to watch the videos linked at the end of this post, featuring inspiring stories from past scholarship winners, Sarah Kelly (2021) and Charles Stuart (2009).
For further details, visit allirelandscholarships.com or contact <101>info@allirelandscholarships.com
with any questions. This is an incredible opportunity for students to receive financial support as they embark on their third-level journey. We encourage all eligible students to ensure they meet the criteria and apply for their SUSI grant on time.

Well done to the Taylor's chess team who competed in their first chess tournament today.
Twenty-nine schools from the west of Ireland competed and the girls did fantastically on their first competitive outing.
This is a reminder that tomorrow you are all invited to celebrate the diversity of cultures that make up the fabric of our school community. All students are invited to wear traditional costumes or clothes.
