Our school secretary, Marian Hegarty, passed away suddenly on Thursday 7th March. Our entire school community is in shock at this loss. Marian’s family and friends are in our thoughts and prayers at this time.
This will be a difficult time for many of our students. We in the school are here to support them but additional advice in relation to supporting children through bereavement is available from the following websites recommended by NEPS:

Today saw our fellow Dominican school, St. Mary's Dominican College, Adelaide, South Australia, visit the school as part of their orchestra's trip to Ireland. The girls were ably looked after by our 5th Year prefects who accompanied them on a walking tour of Galway and then brought them back to the school where the orchestra put on a concert for 1st Year, Transition Year and music students.
We wish our Australian cousins the very best as they leave Ireland and move onto the next leg of their trip in Austria.
