Science Week Presentations

As part of our Science Week activities, psychologist James Soper presented his fast-paced, interactive show entitled "Your Beautiful Biased Brain" to all our junior students. This presentation took the girls through the wonder of the human brain and explained to them that while we take our brains for granted, they are the most amazing machines in the universe. Brains do incredible things, but they also take short-cuts that mean sometimes what you see, hear and feel is very different to the actual world around you. He also spoke to the girls about the latest in brain imaging and research. Thanks to James for a really enjoyable, informative, interesting and stimulating presentation.
