Coffee Morning and Cake Sale

Reminder that our coffee morning and cake sale in aid of our Mental Health Day takes place tomorrow in the Assembly Hall from 9.30-2.00. All students have been asked to bring in at least one item for sale. Parents are welcome to attend and all support is greatly appreciated.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to our Cash for Clobber recycling campaign with over €500 raised. A special thank you to the Transition Years and Green Schools Committee who worked tirelessly over the past few days in ensuring its success.

Don't forget Cash for Clobber continues in the school tomorrow from 8.30am to 4.30pm. Please bring your unwanted items of clothing, shoes and textiles (sheets, pillow cases, towels) in refuse sacks to the school Assembly Hall so that they can be recycled. We cannot accept duvets and pillows.

Junior Certificate Home Economics Practical Exams .

Junior Cert practical exams will commence next Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th, all students taking this exam are requested to check times given and bring all required ingredients and equipment. Please make sure to be prompt and check dates and times.

Hard luck to our minor camogie team who were defeated in the first round of the championship by a strong Kinvara team this morning. They all played exceptionally well and will now play New Inn in the next round.

Hard luck to the 2nd year basketball team who lost to Colaiste Na Coirbe today in NUIG.
Raphaels were up by 2 points going into the final quarter, but Colaiste Na Coirbe shot the ball well in the last quarter to finish the game on top!
Final score 31-27!
All players played very well!!

The Green Schools Committee and TY students have organised the recycling of unwanted clothes to generate money for the school. Why don't you do a Spring Clean on your wardrobe?
Cash for Clobber will take place on 11th and 12th April 2016.
Please return your unwanted items of clothing, shoes, bags and textiles (sheets and pillowcases) on the above dates to the schools Assembly Hall. We do not accept duvets, blankets and pillows.
