No Uniform Day this Friday 12th April

This Friday we are holding a No Uniform Day to support Scoil Chriost Ri's trip to Crete for the World Championship Basketball Finals where they are representing Ireland. As you can imagine, this is a costly trip but one which the people of Portlaoise can be very proud of. As we share both the school campus and many of the same families, we are delighted to help them out in their fundraising. With that in mind, if you wish to lend your support and you son wants to wear his own clothes that day, it will be a €2 donation, payable on Friday morning. Thank you all very much.

Congrats to all students involved in the Laois Schools Track and Field Championships in St Abbans today. There were huge successes winning medals in 24 different events. Report to follow!

Claire Killian who co-ordinated the special Olympics volunteer work with our TY’s was highly complimentary of the lads. She remarked that they were a great asset to her on the day and was very thankful for all their help. Well done lads!
