Student Leadership End of Year Trip

On Monday, members of our student leadership teams, Meitheal, Treoiri and Student Council went on their end of year fun trip to @thestables_gorey. These teams give up their time to make our school a better place.  The fun trip was a thank you for all their hard work throughout the year. Well done lads and thank you for your continued support in making our school a better place.
5th Year Biology Trip

5th Yr Biology students travelled to Airfield Estate in Dundrum to carry out their Habitat Study as part of their section on Ecology. 
They had beautiful weather which made the learning more enjoyable. They mapped the area of the habitat, identified plants and animals and measured abiotic factors. The lads represented the school well. It was a really lovely trip, even if the café did take 20 mins to make a wrap! 
Awards Night Information

Our Annual Awards Night is this Monday 15th May at 7pm.
To those who received invites, we would be delighted for you to attend, with your parents/guardians on the night.
All students are asked to please wear their full uniform and just to clarify, that’s shirt and tie, not your PE uniform!
We look forward to seeing you all there.

Computing Summer Camps for 5th year students

Creative Computing Summer Camp 2023- 6th to the 7th of June 2023

The camp will introduce a number of computing areas to students in a fun and interactive way and provide them with a taste of studying computing in college.  Students will learn how to:

 

•              Sculpt in 3D

•              Ui Design

•              Web Design

 

The summer camp is open to any secondary level student in Transition Year or above .   There are, however, a limited number of places, so book early.  The cost is €20 per student, which includes lunch each day.

Senior and Junior Volleyball

Our Senior and Junior Volleyball teams played a friendly against Portlaoise College on Friday after school. The boys had a great day and really enjoyed themselves. Some new players had the opportunity to take part in proper games and our students showcased their refereeing skills on the day! Volleyball is really on the rise in our school! Well done to all the lads and their coaches!
Treoiri Interview change of plan for TY's...

Treoiri interviews will take place next Thursday for current 3rd year applicants and on a day to be decided the following week for TY applicants (due to TY’s being away on Thurs). Ms Foley and Ms Murphy (Principal) will meet with all applicants during the next 10 days.
