Congratulations again to Dawid Wajrak, Daniel Downey and Finn Darcy who have all progressed to the Leinster Cross Country Championships. Finn Darcy was first to secure his place finishing in a solid 12th place against a large field of over 180 athletes. Finn paced himself very well in the race, overtaking 10 people in the last 500m well done. The Junior Boys was also a huge field which didn't phase Dawid or Daniel who ran to their strengths. Dawid has been very strong this season - holding back for the first km before taking the lead and finishing in style with confidence. Daniel also had an impressive run battling right to the end and using his finishing speed to finish in 3rd place. Well done to all three who will represent the school in 2 weeks time in Santry! ‍️‍️

Fridays thought of the day for Catholic Schools Week

As Catholic Schools Week comes to a close, we are asked to think about how we walk together in hope. The world can be a scary place sometimes. We might feel afraid or worried for the future. In our Catholic school, we learn that we are never truly alone, that God loves us and that our friends and teachers are there for us. Together, as a school community that is kind and cares for each other, we look to the future with the hope and the joy of the resurrection. Lord, help us to live like you taught us to. Special thanks to Kai Wilkie in 5th Year for delivering our daily reflections via the intercom to the whole school.

Thursdays thought of the day for Catholic Schools Week

Today we are asked to think about walking together to transform our world. We often hear in the news about how many people are very worried about our climate and how we need to change the way we live our lives. In our Catholic school, we learn that our environment is sacred, and that God’s creation must be taken care of and protected. May we learn to be responsible stewards in our world for the common good of all. Lord, help us to live like you taught us to.
