Please read and consent for your son to complete this online Anti-bullying Survey here...

Our school has agreed to take part of a nationwide online survey developed by the Anti-Bullying Centre at Dublin City University in association with Webwise.
The Centre hosts the UNESCO Chair on Bullying and Cyberbullying and the Irish Research Observatory in Cyberbullying, Cyberhate and Online harassment.
What this survey is about
The research survey is about how teenagers respond when they witness or learn about someone being bullied online.
What we ask of you
We seek to invite the students of your school to participate in this research.
To that end, we very kindly ask you to make the survey link available to the parents/guardians via the school app or whatever method your school communicates with parents / guardians of your students.
The deadline for completion of the survey is Friday 27th January latest - therefore we kindly ask that the survey is made available to the parents / guardians of your students without delay.
The survey is fully automated, confidential and anonymous - upon the parent/guardian opening the survey link, they will be presented with a Plain Language Statement providing them an overview of the research survey and its objective. They will then provide their parental consent confirming their agreement for their child(ren) to participate in the research survey.
The parent/guardian will then share the survey with their child(ren).
Similarly, the child(ren) will also read the students' Plain Language Statement and provide their assent to participate in the survey - they will then complete and submit their responses online to the survey.
The above will automatically route to ourselves.
Thank you once again for your support and assistance in your school's participation in this research.
Your contribution and collaboration is invaluable.
With Very Best Wishes
Angela - DCU Anti-Bullying Centre

TY’s were treated to a fantastic celebration of Science today at the BT Young Scientist Exhibition in the RDS. They had the opportunity to watch several Science shows: "The Physics of Breakdancing" and the "Secrets of Superhero Science" to name a few. Really fascinating stuff! They perused the projects to get a better idea of what to expect for their own Scifest@School exhibition next month. They visited the exhibitors stands where they could participate in various games and experiments or try out VR devices all promoting Science in everyday life. And of course, they visited the food hall for lunch! The lads were all gentlemen and represented the school so well! Bring on our Scifest@School next month on Feb 2nd!!! @btyste #fromeachtheirbest
