3rd Years Who Are Not Going on English Trip Tomorrow...

Tomorrow, Thursday 16/1, ninety per cent of 3rd years are going to Dublin to watch an English play, The Merchant of Venice. Several others are playing a basketball match. With so few 3rd years remaining the curriculum cannot progress. We advise those to attend school and make it a planned study day.

If a student comes to school, they should be in for the day. We discourage a student texting their parent because they are bored and a parent arriving to collect them. All students who do attend, are here to do their work in the Library. These will not be free classes. We appreciate your support. Thank you.

SUPERVISED STUDY FOR 3RD & 6TH YEARS NEXT MONDAY

Archived : 15 Mar 2025, 12:00 AM

Next Monday, January 20th, is an Oide Teacher Training Day and school will be closed to students.

We are running an all day Supervised Study for both 3rd & 6th years. In order to organise supervisors in advance we will need to know, by tomorrow, Thursday 16th January, how many students will be attending. Students may sign up during their breaks today and tomorrow in the GPA with Mr Mulligan.

The day will begin at 9am sharp. There will be a half hour break from 11-11.30. Lunch from 1.00-1.30. Finish at 4.

They MUST bring their own lunch, nobody will be leaving to go to the shop and the canteen will not be open.

We stress that if they sign up for the day, it is a full day. Nobody will be allowed to leave until 4pm. This is to ensure that the day is one of concentration in a peaceful, undisturbed setting. This is a great opportunity for students to get organised, and be well prepared for their Mocks. We hope to see a large number from both exam years here on Monday.
