Well done to the First Year Boys Basketball Team who had a great victory over Beaufort College last week . The winning score of 13 -18 reflected the accurate scoring of the boys. The team is coached by Mr Davis.

Well done to everyone who took part in our very successful Arts Night tonight. Thanks to our gymnasts, artists, musicians and cooks. Particular congratulations to the winners our student Bake Off (Mya Frazer Luc and and Cillian Heaney) and our Staff Cook Off Ms Shanley and Ms Byrne. The event was organised by the Student Council with the assistance of Ms Fitzgerald and staff.

U 15 Soccer Victory

Well done to the U 15 Soccer team who defeated Ballymakenny College by a scoreline of 5-4 today. The match was held in Drogheda and it was nip and tuck right up to the final whistle. Best for Athboy CS was Joe Ennis (hat trick) and Jeaic Murray (Goalkeeper). The boys now progress to a Leinster quarter final.

The first year basketball team played Colaiste Clavin, Longwood this afternoon. Unfortunately the girls were on the losing side, 16-14. However, the girls did Athboy CS proud as they worked tirelessly and showed great sportsmanship throughout!

The second year girls basketball team put on an impressive display against Colaiste Clavin this afternoon. The girls were narrowly defeated by five baskets (36-26). A brilliant game to watch with great encouragement and teamwork! The team was coached by Ms. Shanley.
