Dear Parent,
The 4th years are having a presentation from the Roads Policing Authority tomorrow during P5 and P6, in the study hall. This a very important presentation. It was presented to all senior cycle classes last year. It is about safety on our roads, in particular for young drivers, who have begun to learn to drive or who will do so in the near future. It is a very frank and honest presentation and has been classed as 16 plus as it has some distressing video and witness statements. If for some reason you wish for your son not be participate please inform me ASAP at brian.mcmahon@pbc-cork.ie. I feel the boys will get a lot from the presentation from First Responders. It is important our children in days where we are obsessed with technology, the dangers that lie herein, when you get behind the wheel of a car. My own son is 15 years old and i have shared all of the content with him as it is vital we protect our children by opening their eyes to all the dangers on our roads. Please feel free to contact me if you have any queries.
