Dear Parent/Guardian,

 

There is training as usual this week on Tuesday and Thursday. As well as that we have 4 matches away to Blackrock on Saturday 23rd of November. Leaving the school gates at 7am sharp and returning to the school at approx 5pm.

Ice skating outing

Dear Parent All the first year students will wear the school tracksuit tomorrow. The boys going on the trip will leave class at 15.00 and be bused to the venue. the boys remaining will stay in class until 15.15. the Ice skating will take place from 15.50 to 16.45 after which time the boys must be collected from the venue, which is at the (new) Live at the Marquee site on Centre Park Road, Ballintemple, Co. First Year Rugby

Dear Parent, This Thursday coming, 16 January 2025 we will have an outing for our first year rugby players. We will visit Cork on Ice as part of a bonding experience for the boys. They will be bused from the school and participate in the 15.50 skating session. all are welcome even if they are no longer playing rugby. We will take numbers during P3 and P4 tomorrow. We are asking for 10 euro per child towards the cost which we will collect tomorrow. Thanks to Cork on Ice for helping us by acknowledging all the work the school does for SHARE at Christmas. There is a free webinar taking place tomorrow, Wednesday the 13th of November, at 7pm called The importance of sleep for our teenagers.  The main speaker is Lucy Wolfe and she will be giving some information and guidance around this topic.  

Lucy is best known for the books she has written on sleep for young children, but she has prepared some very useful material specifically for the parents of teenagers.

Presentation College Past Pupils Union Mass for the recently deceased

Dear Parent / Guardian,

The P.P.U. have asked us to remind past pupils, and their families, of a mass for the recently deceased Past Pupils taking place this evening, Tuesday, 12th November, @ 7.30 PM in the College Theatre. 

The College will be open from 6.30 PM if Past Pupils / families would like to wander around the school to look at some of the many old, and not so old, photos on display.

Teas and coffees will be served after the mass.

Dear Parent/Guardian,

We have training as usual this week, Tuesday and Thursday. We have two matches v Rockwell on Wednesday in Wilton. Those involved will travel by bus to Wilton after school (1pm). Kick off is at 2.30 and the boys will be ready for collection at approx 3.40.

We will have in house games for everyone on Saturday morning in Wilton. On pitch for 9am.

Dear Parent/Guardian,

 

Welcome back after the break. We will be training as usual on Tuesday and Thursday. 

On Wednesday the 6th of November we have two matches in Wilton v Bandon. Kick off 1pm. The players involved on the day will leave school by bus at 12pm and can be collected in Wilton at approx 2pm.

We have an away trip to Dublin this coming Saturday 9th of November. Four matches versus Terenure. Two buses will be leaving the school gates at 6.45 am. Returning at 5.30 pm approx.

Each boy should wear his school tracksuit. Bring gum shield, lunch and some pocket money for a stop on the way home.
