Dear Parent
Our 4th TY outing of the year takes place tomorrow. We will Cycle the Waterford Greenway. Buses will depart the school at the regular time of 08.35 and return for 15.15. It is a very gentle cycle the vast amount being downhill. The scenery is breath taking and the boys have always had great fun. Attendance is compulsory it is a regular school day. In the unlikely event that your son is unable to attend on the day, please log his absence on the App before 8.30, so as not to delay the buses. Thank you for your cooperation here.
We will collect the bikes in Kilmacthomas and cycle to Dungarvan. The boys should bring water and a packed lunch. There is quite a large Supervalu in Dungarvan and the boys will be given opportunity to purchase lunch here if they require same. The weather looks promising but a spare set of clothing should be brought just in case. This can be left on the bus. Lunch and water should be brought in a small back pack to ease the burden while cycling.
We look forward to seeing all the boys tomorrow. Uniform for the day is either the PBC tracksuit or PBC Top and Shorts.
Is mise le meas,
Brian McMahon,
TY Coordinator

Preslink continues to make a real and positive impact on the lives of many in Ghana.
Attached is a document highlighting the recent commissioning of 'an ultramodern Kindergarten Block for the Presentation Brother's School Complex in the Upper East Region, Bolgatanga'.
Thanks to all our school community who continue to support Preslink.
The last episode of the season of PBC Podcast has dropped and as ever it’s an eclectic mix reflecting the wide-ranging and diverse interests and activities in our school.
The recent visit to Pres by students from Lycee Leconte de Lisle on Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean features prominently in this programme.
Emmet Brady and Hussain Jameel interview teacher Luc Briand and one of the Reunion students about their school, life on Reunion Island and their colonial past.
We’ve had Russian, German and Irish interviews previously on PBC Podcast so time to hear some French finally! Seamus Sweeney and Barry Collins showcase their linguistic talent as they speak en Francais to Reunion students Keesha and Nora about school life and Barry even has his own special quiz for them!
We have music from Luc Briand who sings and plays a love song ‘J’ai rendezvous avec toi’ by Georges Brassens and our own Greg Lougheed plucks ‘ Ships in Full Sail’ on his banjo.
Finally, Emmet interviews our own Oisin Tóibín on his journey to making the Irish U-16 basketball team for this summer’s European Championships.
That’s a wrap for PBC Podcast. Thanks to management, all teachers and staff and all our contributors inside and outside Pres for making it another immensely successful year and to you of course our listeners.
Special mention to our TY podcasting crew who used all the skills they learned during the year to edit and put together this episode independently.

Season 4, Episode 4 has dropped!
Well, we just couldn’t let the school year pass without reflecting on the incredible success of our rugby brethren and so we brought Head Coach, Assistant Coach and Captain of this year’s Senior Cup winning team into studio to reflect on the double- double season.
Ger Burke, Don Buckley and Gene Kareem O Leary speak to our interviewers, Matthew O Riordan and Aodhán O Sullivan about their journey and consider all the factors and personalities that contributed to the magnificent triumphs in both junior and senior campaigns this year.
We also hear vox pops from some of the players involved. Click below to listen to episode
