Good afternoon,
We have arranged for all of our sixth year students to attend the Cyclone Rep production of Hamlet, next Friday 22nd March.
This is an interactive show, geared specifically towards Leaving Cert revision. This has always been invaluable to our students in the past.
The price of the ticket for this is €15 and attendance for all students is compulsory.
The payment link is live now on Easy Payments and needs to be paid by the end of the week.
Thank you!
Shane Twomey
Dear Parent / Guardian,
The excitement is building in school as we all look forward to tomorrow’s big occasion.
This communication is simply to remind you of some of the details around tomorrow’s final.
Tuesday will be a ‘Black and White’ day in the college where all students (and Staff!) are encouraged to wear the school colours. In keeping with our tradition of recent years, all students will be asked to donate €2 for Preslink as part of this non-uniform day.
As we will be travelling from the school in great numbers, and because of past experiences, the following restrictions have to be put into place:
If your son wants to sit / stand with the school cohort at the match:
1. He must travel on one of the buses organised by the school.
2. There can be no bags, food, drink nor water bottles on the buses.
3. School bags will be left in the College Theatre overnight so homework from Tuesday will not be looked for on Wednesday.
4. Face painting will only be allowed at the match grounds. No face painting in school or on the bus – no exceptions!
5. In previous years, a small number of pupils have consumed alcohol before matches and their behaviour proved to be problematic as a result, posing a risk to the safety of themselves and those around them.
This is a school match and alcohol is not part of it.
If your son needs to drive to the match, he may be able to buy a ticket at the gate, but unfortunately, will not be able to stand with the school group. No student will be allowed enter the PBC student supporter’s area unless they were on one of our buses (an earlier notification was sent to parents of T.Y. students on work experience / social work).
As this is a school activity FULL SCHOOL RULES APPLY.
Please speak to your son in advance concerning the above and his behaviour on the day.
Thank you all for your understanding and continued support.
Finally, we wish all the players and their coaches the very best of luck.
Regards,
