The CAT4 Exam will take place on Saturday 12th March. There will be two sittings, from 9-11am and 11-1pm. Your son will be assigned a time after the Midterm Break. A letter will be posted to all with the time. The fee of €30 must be paid on the school App or into the office before the exam begins.
There is no preparation or studying which can be done for this exam. It will be done on a computer, it will consist of several short, timed exams. Students do not need any special computer skills, everything will be set up for them beforehand, and they will be given instructions on the morning of the exam. If you believe there could be a problem with your son being in the big group, or if he requires any special accommodations, please contact the school office and ask to speak to either Ms Lynch our AEN Coordinator or Ms Murphy the Principal.

For all parents of current TY's and 3rd years, many decisions have to be made in the coming weeks.
Those doing 3rd year must decide are they going to embark on an exciting and fulfilling year of Transition Year.
Those heading into 5th year must decide on their subject options and also will they take on the worthwhile challenge of LCVP and the World of Work?
We are also beginning a Leaving Certificate Applied Class (LCA) for suitable students who wish to pursue this type of Leaving Cert.
Information for all these pathways will be provided as listed on the PDF here. Please note that the TY and Subject Choice Info evenings for parents will be ONLINE on TEAMS. The LCA will be in person, in school.
Further information will updated on the School App.
