Big congrats to Daniel Downey who competed for Portlaoise AC in the All Ireland Cross Country Championships in Gowran today. Daniel, who is not long back from injury had a brilliant run to finish 6th in the u13 Boys 2,500m race. Well done Daniel! #fromeachhisbest

Next week (6th-10th of December) is a whole-school study week here in St. Mary's CBS. We have organised this week to reinforce the message to students that... to maximise retention levels and improve academic performance in exams, it is essential to STUDY. There are resources available on exam techniques and study skills in the GPA for all year groups. The Guidance Department will be running study skills workshops with first year classes. Attached is a useful document for parents to look at to support their sons with the upcoming Christmas exams.
