1A Complete CSPE CBA on Bullying

As part of their CSPE CBA , Ms. Comerford’s first year class 1A completed a project on Bullying . Their motto for the project was ‘Don’t stand by, stand up’. They researched the topic of bullying over the last number of weeks and created posters on their chosen topic. The class then wrote a speech on what they had learned about bullying, which they delivered to the other first year classes in order to stomp out bullying and raise awareness on its effects. ️ Well done to all.

School of Sanctuary Update

️On Wednesday the 17th of April, Humayoon Shirzad, from School of Sanctuary Ireland paid us a visit. He facilitated workshops with 5th years, TY's and 2nd years. He met our School of Sanctuary committee and he was very impressed with their work. We got the opportunity to showcase our impressive School of Sanctuary painting! Thanks to Mr R Williams for assisting the committee with this. We look forward to meeting Humayoon again for our monitoring session and hopefully then we will be awarded the title of a Champion School of Sanctuary. Thank you Humayoon for visiting us, and well done to our committee for their hard work and diligence ️

This years’ Multicultural Week committee are very busy organising what should be a great week! Multicultural week takes place between the 22nd and the 26th of April. Highlights include Continental Cup, Display Day and a Talent Show. If you would like to participate in the Talent Show, please contact Ms Mulhare. More details will be posted next week!
