We thank our TY team of DJ White, Josh Hogan, Dan Daly and Ben Fitzpatrick for their work and would also encourage any current TY student who has an interest in joining the Filming Team to come speak to Mr Brennan in the coming days.

A gentle reminder to all students and parents, as we approach the last week of the first term, to encourage full attendance at school. It is even more significant now that classes are 1 hour duration. Missing 2 days or even 2 half days can result in your son missing all classes for a particular subject for the whole week. Absenteeism has a profound impact on school performance and can affect peer relationships. School should only be missed for genuine reasons. The school can be informed by parents of genuine absences through the school App which is far more convenient than phone calls.

TY Explorium

Yesterday TY visited ‘Explorium’ , the Sports Science Centre at Sandyford. The object is to challenge mind and body while testing agility and piquing curiosity through engaging in the many interactive science and STEM experiences. The boys tried the Gravity room, the Lightning experience and the climbing section. Team work was often the key to success something we always promote in our TY programme. The lads scored it ‘10 out of 10’ for fun and learning so a return next year is a must!
