Vaccination forms were sent out prior to the Midterm Break. The HSE are here today, Tuesday and Wednesday doing the vaccinations. If you have not returned the permission form, please do so tomorrow morning and give into the Secretary's Office before 9 am.

TY Update for November 2019

Welcome back ! Tomorrow Tuesday 5th Nov TY will attend a workshop with" Soar" from 10-1 pm in LR 2. The subject is mental health, as was already flagged. Between 2 and 4 pm tomorrow we will have a speaker in from Age Action Ireland with a view to getting a number of TY students to volunteer to teach computer skills to older members of the community after Christmas as one of the Tuesday short courses which will run for 6 weeks up to the February mid term Tuesday 12th Nov. TY will organise a "Blitz" Tuesday 19th Nov. Visit to Rock of Cashel and Cahir Castle. Tuesday 26th Nov. Visit to U.C.D.. Just to mention school rules apply at all times. Correct uniform and good behaviour is expected in and out of school . Absenteeism is really detrimental to learning good discipline for life and will not be tolerated. Reminder that work experience is fundamental to the programme and students must give written details of their placements every time they move to a new job and an Employer Report form must be filled in. All forms are outside the TY office. Finally students will be interviewed individually to assess BEST WORK PORTFOLIO and JOURNALS this term. Thank you for your continued support. L.G. / E.O'C.
