Last night’s attendance at the above Information evening was overwhelming. For those who attended and also for those who were unable to attend, the PowerPoint Presentation and the sheet of information distributed with the dates of each subject’s CBA’s will be on our website in a few days. If you couldn’t attend please take the time to read through both, in particular make note of the dates for your son’s subjects’ CBA dates if he is in either 2nd or 3rd year.

There will be no rugby training after school today. Both Junior and Senior will be playing the final games of their development league tomorrow in Portlaoise rugby grounds vs. Mountrath CS. Kick off times will be 11am for juniors and 12:30 for seniors. All players should bring their books for their first two and last two classes. The junior bus will be leaving at 10am and the senior bus will be leaving at 11am. Players are also reminded to bring €5 for the bus.

Congratulations to both our Senior and Junior rugby teams today who came out winners in both games today against Colaiste Lorcain, Athy. Both teams played some great rugby! Well done to the boys and their coaches!

UCD Science cordially invites TY students to apply for the UCD School of Physics Transition Year Week, taking place on campus between 2nd & 5th December. The programme consists of interactive seminars and thought-provoking lectures provided by the academic staff of UCD Physics. There will be fun physics experiments and exciting field trips which allow students to experience Physics in the real world. Applications Open: Friday 4th of October at 9am. Applications Close: Sunday 20th October at 9pm. The final decision on the 24 places on offer rests exclusively with the UCD School of Physics.
