U19 and U17 Soccer

It’s a big week for our U19 and U17 soccer teams this week as each team progressed further in their respective competitions last week!
Our U19s defeated Kilbeggan on a scoreline of 3-1 after conceding a goal to a penalty early in the first half. But a hat-trick from Davy Costello and a fantastic team effort meant that the CBS proved too strong for their oppositions.
They now face Wexford CBS in the Leinster Senior A Cup Quarter Final tomorrow (Wednesday 24th). St. Mary’s CBS are one of the last remaining 8 teams after a whopping 109 schools entered. The school has not reached this stage of the competition since 2018, we are so proud of you! Best of luck lads! ️#fromeachtheirbest

May we learn to have hearts of compassion, trust and love in everything we do, as we journey together in faith. @edmundriceschools
