Filling out and submitting the 5th Year Option Form
Created : 18 Mar 2021, 7:37 PM
Archived : 18 May 2021, 12:00 AM
This has been sent to your app since 6pm this evening. Do not run to submit quickly as you have a full week to think about it, to read the subject information provided on this app from tomorrow, Friday, under SCHOOL INFO, discuss what your son wants to do after leaving school and have a look at our website under Students Tab / Guidance & Support / Careers Portal. When you open your App to Notifications, you should see, on the lower right side of your opened app, 'Attention Please', a triangle with a red dot beside it - meaning you have a message. When you click this it will take you directly to the PERMISSION FORM sent to you earlier. Upon clicking this, you will see an explanation about what you are to do. Scroll down and tick the appropriate boxes - you must reply to all, you cannot skip any. We need all this information to make our plans for next September. . You can also access this by looking at the red page with a long list of app pages - find CONSENT FORM - and as photo shows, the 5th Year Option Form is also found this way. When you son returns to school in a few weeks, this is where you will also find his Return to School Form to submit before April 12th. When complete, read over it and then SUBMIT

The State Exams Commission have asked us to remind the candidates who have yet to register of the following before you hit the Submit button on the portal: When you have made your choices for each subject and BEFORE you hit the Submit button, you should carefully review your selections to ensure they are correct. When you see the Warning DO NOT IGNORE IT - check the page again. You will not be able to go back to alter your choices on the portal at this time. They are finding that many students are realising after submitting that they have made mistakes and it is causing problems.
