On Friday stalls will be set up to represent each nation in our school Students will be encouraged to showcase artifacts, personal belongings, posters and flags. An aspect of the day will also enable our students and teachers to embrace the opportunity to taste new food and learn about the different cultures represented in the school. Speakers from Laois African support group and Laois Partnership will also be invited to address the Junior Cycle Students from 11.15 onwards. TY Students have also produced a video titled "What Cultural Diversity means to you" which will be circulated later in the week. For the day, all students (1st - 6th) are permitted to dress in clothes with represent the nationalities in our school. We encourage all students to proudly engage and be respectful of all cultures.
