Due to the national Red Weather alert the Department of Education has instructed all schools to close on Monday Oct.16th. Therefore Marian College will be closed. Please keep an eye on the school website and national media for further updates.
New Sports Hall

The new Marian College Sports Hall is nearing completion. The hall will be open for school use within the next fortnight.

Congratulations to Moyle Park Marist College Clondalkin, our sister school, on celebrating 60 years. They welcomed former pupil and Dublin Senior Gaelic football manager Jim Gavin (and Sam maguire).

Our open day takes place on Sat Sept 30th from 10am - 1pm. All prospective students and parents are welcome to come along and receive a guided tour of the college from our students and staff. Congratulations to recent past-pupil Darragh Murphy on winning the Interprovincial Championship with the Leinster U19 rugby team in Donnybrook on Saturday night by defeating Connacht. The 2017-2018 school year begins on Monday Aug 28th with an induction for new 1st Years only. Classes will resume on Tuesday Aug 29th for 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 6th years from 9am - 12:50pm. While 4th and 5th years will return on Monday Sept. 4th.
TY trip to Glendalough

Some of the Transition year students went to Glendalough today. They climbed The Spinc overlooking the two lakes and thoroughly enjoyed the trek around Wicklow's Glaciated valley.
