Last Monday and Tuesday students took part in the Driver Ed Road Safety Workshop this has been an integral part of the Transition Year programme for a number of years . Another busy week ahead : Ms.Caroline Brennan has organised a guest speaker to give a presentation on the John Paul 2 Leadership Awards , this presentation will take place on Monday morning. On Tuesday Ms.Kelly is taking the students to Castlecomer Discovery Park. Students are reminded they must wear their school uniforms unless otherwise advised. On Thursday students have their Speech & Drama exams. Students are expected to be properly prepared for this by having their poems etc well rehearsed. There will also be a speaker in on the same day from the No Name club, which promotes socialising without alcohol . Reminder to students to actively participate in the competitions that have been made available. Finally, my sincere thanks to everyone who so generously supported our Focus Ireland 'Shine a light' sleep out in the school, we are delighted to say that over €1000 was raised for this worthy cause.
