Reminder for all under 16 panel members to bring in 32 euro for their gear. Mr Brennan will collect the money on the pitch at lunchtime Thursday during the training. Order goes in Friday with NO EXCEPTIONS!

If you have unanswered questions about what your 2nd year is doing about all these new terms such as CBA's or Other Areas of Learning or anything else that comes under the new Junior Cycle Program, Ms Emma Lynch has put together an Info Sheet to help answer some of your questions. We also advise you come along to hear Pauline Kelly on Wed 24th October, next week, who will provide you with all the answers. It's at 7.30 pm.

TY Focus Ireland Sleep-Over

Many thanks to all supporters of the TY Sleep over in aid of Focus Ireland. Ms O'Connell, Mr Thompson, Mr Mulhall, Ms Walsh and Ms Scully all gave their time to helping to make this happen. Also thanks to Sodexo and to Rafters Cafe who provided breakfast this morning. Ironically, although it may have been an 'experience' for these students and their teachers, the reality for those aided by this fundraiser is quite different. Breakfast and home to a shower may not be their reality in 2018, unfortunately, Well done to all.

Even though conditions were very poor today, it was no match for our u-19 soccer team who defeated Cross & Passion College Kilcullen 3-0! Cian Houlihan managed the ball very well with some superb passes throughout the match. Captain Cathal Hewitt cut off a few dangerous balls at centre back while Paraig Cahill showed true team spirit by creating chances on the right side. Victor Oladapo, crowned man of the match, held centre field well and encouraged his team. Morgan Carroll was first to find the back of the net, followed by Cian Houlihan & Liam Fraser. Michael O’Connell did very well in goals coming off his line with a couple of one on one saves along with some targeted long range passing! Overall the win would not have happened without an excellent team performance! Great win away from home! Match report courtesy of Kevin Swayne. Well done to Ms Hyland and all the panel.

Well done to both our U16 and U19 basketball teams. Both teams were playing Pipers Hill Naas and both teams had great wins. Well done to all involved!
