UNDER 15 SOCCER RESULT Old Bawn 3-4 Marian College Bodenea 15 Hakiki 27 Hernandez 50 Tilson 56 Marian won away in the 1st Round of the cup with a 4-3 win in Tallaght. Alex Bodenea opened the scoring after a great cross from Ayman Hakiki. Old Bawn equalised shortly after before Marian's lead was restored with a tap in from Hakiki after Spanish student Martin Hernandez teed him up. The 2nd half started brightly for Ild Bawn however and they were soon 3-2 up after some sloppy Marian defending. Josh Tilsom missed a penalty to equalise after Ganto was brought down in the box with only ten minutes remaining. But the Marian boys fought hard and were rewarded with an equaliser from Hernandez and then a bullet of a header from Josh Tilsom from a Jake Ryan corner. Best for Marian were Tilson,Camerero,Ryan and Bodenea with Man of the Match Mark Tresson.

The Marian College Green School Committee would be very grateful if all students take care to throw away any unwanted items into the correct bins. Please read the information posters above the bins as a guide. Many thanks to class 202 who have already performed two very successful litter picks of the school grounds over the past two weeks.
